Trevor Thomas, PGA Professional

General Manager

Trevor was born and raised in the Finger Lakes of New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University where he also pitched for the Bobcat baseball team. After receiving his Bachelors Degree, he was awarded a Graduate Assistant Coaching position and earned a Masters Degree in Sports Administration. Trevor started his golf career as a PGA apprentice at Sylvania Country Club in 1992. He has spent his entire PGA tenure in the NW Toledo golf area serving as an Assistant Golf Professional at clubs such as Sylvania CC, Highland Meadows Golf Club, Shawnee CC and as Head Professional at Catawba Island Club. We welcomed Trevor to Delphos Country Club in 2018 as our Head PGA Professional and General Manager and he continues to bring a high level of professionalism to our club.

Trevor prides himself in staffing our club with friendly, high service employees that are polite and always ready to help our members and our guests. We want everyone to enjoy their time at Delphos Country Club where the public is always welcome. Trevor especially enjoys teaching junior golfers and gets great satisfaction seeing them fall in love with the game of golf. He has one son, Zack, who enjoys playing golf as much as Trevor and, as of this date, has not yet beaten him on the links. They are both looking forward to that day.

Please feel free to contact Trevor to assist you with your game, your golf outing, or just to share golf tales. You can reach him directly at [email protected] or call 410-435-3812 and enter prompt #2 which will ring directly to his office.

“Remember, every shot in golf makes somebody happy.”

Mike Fast, CGCS

Golf Course Superintendent

Mike has served as Golf Course Superintendent at Delphos Country Club for 27 years and has helped establish our reputation as one of the best conditioned golf courses in Northwest Ohio. Many golfers feel that DCC has some of the smoothest and fastest putting surfaces in the area.

Mike grew up in Haviland, Ohio and attended Wayne Trace High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy from Ohio State University. During his college years he was privileged to work and learn at Scioto Country Club, Muirfield Village Golf Club and Sycamore Hills CC. After graduation, Mike worked as an assistant superintendent at Jefferson Country Club and Orchard Hills Country Club. He became Head Superintendent at Delphos Country Club in 1996 and earned his Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) accreditation in 1999.

Mike has a love for both watching and playing golf. He also enjoys following Ohio State football and basketball. Another hobby is collecting books on golf course architecture. Mike lives in Van Wert with his wife and two sons. Mike and his family look forward to visiting and playing some of the country’s finest golf resorts each year when they get the opportunity to travel.
